We understand, no one piece of software can accomplish everything (as much as we try), that's why we offer a range of plugins, enabling OpenCrypt to integrate with third-party software products.

Whether you want to integrate a forum with your OpenCrypt login system to reduce the necessity for double login, or are simply looking for a more advanced content management system we have the solution.

Please note, not all software requires a plugin. Due to the design of the OpenCrypt 'Database Integration' and 'Custom Functions' facilities, most software packages can be integrated very quickly and free of charge. In the case of phpBB for example, the integration is extended by removing the phpBB login system and integrating the OpenCrypt 'PHP Login Interface' to eliminate the need for double-login.

SocialEngine Social Networking Plugin



SocialEngine is a PHP-based social network platform that lets you create a social network on your website. The OpenCrypt membership software integrates with SocialEngine to enable all account management to be managed by OpenCrypt. This gives you extended control over your custom form fields and registration process, and enables you to charge for membership and sell additional products.

The plugin integrates SocialEngine with OpenCrypt so all user management and registration is handled by OpenCrypt. Simply, OpenCrypt manages the user database and for example, the SocialEngine signup form is replaced with the OpenCrypt registration form. The plugin also replaces SocialEngine's lost password facility and account modification facility which are replaced by OpenCrypt's more comprehensive facilities.

Using the OpenCrypt registration form enables us to collect more comprehensive custom form field data and to charge for membership. It also allows us to sell additional products and integrate the registration process with a shopping cart.

The plugin also integrates the login systems so users only need to login once to access SocialEngine, OpenCrypt and any content that is being secured by OpenCrypt.

All our plugins are integration services performed by us, they are not drop-in scripts that add functionality - they require our customisation and fine-tuning. The high cost for the SocialEngine plugin is intended to cover the initial configuration of the system. We will customise the system as you require when setting it up, and you will have complete control over whether for example, accounts should be disabled in SocialEngine when they expire in OpenCrypt.

None of the features offered by SocialEngine are limited, users can still for example, manage photos and events. They simply register and update their account using the OpenCrypt membership software, from the user's point of view the integration is seamless.

The OpenCrypt SocialEngine Plugin is available for all versions of SocialEngine.

Please note, because of regularly changing SocialEngine versions we modify each user's installation individually to offer the plugin, please allow up to 72 hours for this to be completed. The OpenCrypt SocialEngine Plugin is an OpenCrypt Plugin, it is not a SocialEngine Plugin.
